He will not be in the slightest bit interested in this thread or any other that mentions his name in the same breath as Virgin Media.














Now if you had used a search engine such as Google you would have found out much to your surprise that Virgin Media is just a name leased for a minimum of 10 years from the Virgin Group and that under the facade lies NTL/Telewest and apart from his company getting 7% of shares for their trouble and a little advertising that is as far as his relationship goes with the company.

Remember Google is your friend.

I will give an example, I'm sure many people are aware of Richer Sounds, probably the best hifi and electrical shop in the country. That's a franchise now as well, but Julian is in touch with every branch and personally responsible for them regardless. That is called setting an example. I wish he leased NTL rather than bloody Virgin.

Well as Richard Branson has never owned Virgin Media he will have absolutely no interest in the running of the company as its not even a franchise, so your example is meaningless.

The Virgin name is universal, and deliberately so. That means with power comes responsibility. The buck stops somewhere, Branson owns Virgin. What's to know beyond that? If someone used your credit card or wrote something using your name you'd be quick enough to get the blame, why should anyone else be different? It sounds like you believe he is above the rules which apply to everyone else. How can I do that as well as it sounds quite useful?

He does not own Virgin Media so is not accountable for them in any way if you think otherwise then you should go to his tinfoil hat store.

Virgin Media is not one of his companies and therefore of little interest to him, can you find a link anywhere that says otherwise, behind the name lies NTL/Telewest where little has changed since the new name.

Lets have a reality check, I own a Ford car so if I get a speeding fine going by your analogy Ford will take the points and the fine, except we live in the real world and that does not happen.

Try googling CEOEMAIL and you will find the CEO of Virgin Media who is strangely not called Richard.

The culprit is irrelevant, and it's thoroughly dishonest as a tangent that Branson is happy to put his name to something you now tell me is wrong, and misleading. But all that means is NTL are stingy and inconsiderate by not adding a service everyone else gets, and of course after 16 years on cable I now can't read Teletext at all, with no idea when that will arrive. It is pathetic.

He will care little for what you think as it is not one of his companies so follow my advice above and send an email to the CEO.

Having just seen yet another ad for Virgin cable where they thank Richard Branson personally for the speed upgrade he's definitely up for the flowers, so if he is happy to take credit for the improvements he has to take credit for the faults regardless of how little he owns of it.

Basically once you stand up and make yourself the face of a company that's the rule of the game regardless of the details.
