If it is copy then homeplugs are fine since just data transfer. If it is streaming then just checking if you have any experience of using homeplugs this way?

I've been looking at the TP-Link AV200 Mini Multi-Streaming Powerline Adapters, http://www.tp-link.com/en/products/d...el=TL-PA211KIT, they say they can provide HD video streaming with speeds up to 200Mbps but what is reality?

I have used these devices for a number of years, i dont see why they wont stream rather than copy.if the tivo was just to copy i would think it would be time consuming and rather annoying. I am sure i have read somewhere that the multiroom would be streaming. The homeplugs just replace the need to run cables from your router/modem to any network enabled device. I am confident they will work with tivo streaming. Lets wait and see. i was told multiroom will be fully activated no later than the end of this week, lets hope.

Can I just ask why my box says that I'am able to able to stream content to PC's and Mobile devices? But not able to transfer data?

Could be simple but maybe not?

I would hold fire on the Christmas present. I have 2 TiVo boxes. Once streaming is fully active I could test and let you know if it works.

An official position from Virgin regarding multi room streaming would certainly be welcome.

"The feature exists but is not enabled" I believe is the stance from VM right now.

Thanks, I'm desperate for this one to work! Had my 2nd TIVO installed today, all networked and both on 15.2 and I can view the recordings now just not play them. So close now! :D

Why do you keep reposting the same info again and again. everyone knows that as its been posted a few times in the thread and elsewhere on the forum.

I know, he crossposts the same stuff over on VM Community Forum as well, perhaps other related forums, who knows? Surely he has no time to actually use his VM services if he's spending so much time regurgitating the same (probably inaccurate) pieces of information over and over again.

It's annoying to come back to the forums here and find that he's pointlessly bumped a dozen threads and added absolutely nothing to them. Can something be done about that?

You still see the "you've ignored this user" bar where the post should be, though. I wish there were a way to not have that, and not have threads an ignored user has bumped highlighted as new, or any posts others have replied to by the ignored user shown in the thread timeline. Then you really would have an ignore function!
