And you don't have a VHD? (Sorry to labour the point, but I want to get to the bottom of what's happened here)

Is anyone else getting this tickle listed?

This post says he already has a V+ with HD so sounds like a fail.

No you misunderstood, he said he received a tickle offering an upgrade to HD on his STB but he already has a V+ which comes with HD as standard hence its a fail.:D

Re: Virgin aims to tickle loyal customers.

what about those with standard boxes non HD. if they took the HD tickle via the link would they get a free HD box if they haven't got one already?

Re: Virgin aims to tickle loyal customers.

Could he be getting the HD for Sky Sports and films free as a tickle? or has that charge been removed. (I don't have either option so maybe the extra fee has already been removed and I missed the news)

I know, but he may have a V-HD too.

This particular tickle is only meant for people with a V-HD that doesn't already have HD enabled. Other tickles are available. ;)

No, but you can get one for £20 (the cost of swapping the boxes via the courier) http://shop.virginmedia.com/existing...de-to-vhd.html
