Rest In Peace, great man. One fight you could not win.

Manchester heavyweight Tyson Fury climbed off the canvas to stop Neven Pajkic in three rounds and retain his Commonwealth title in thrilling fashion.
Quote:

Earlier this week Fury discussed the prospect of facing heavyweight rulers Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko in the near future.
Quote:

That looks a fanciful ambition having been knocked down by a man boasting only five career stoppages, but the 23-year-old's response in moving to an unblemished 17-0 record was as clinical as it was impressive

If he fight's like that, fury will get destroyed by the Klitchsko's. And the pac man was very very very lucky.

Manny Pacquiao retained his WBO world welterweight title courtesy of a hotly-disputed points victory over his great rival Juan Manuel Marquez in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

Quote:

Marquez was clearly disgusted and left the ring almost immediately, while the crowd in the MGM Grand Garden Arena booed the decision.

This fight was billed as the one to end all doubt as to which of these two fighters reigns supreme in their epic personal rivalry.

Tim Bradley stopped Joel Casamayor in round 8 to retain his WBO world light-welterweight title in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

The 28-year-old Bradley - tipped as a potential future Pacquiao opponent and making his debut under the Top Rank banner - started as the aggressor with Casamayor seemingly just content to survive.

Marquez was robbed again. It was simply disgusting. He clearly won the fight. Even Amir Khan, stable mates with the Pacman, had the fight to Marquez.

Apparently HBO pulled the broadcast off the air early due to excessive booing and anger from the fans.

One thing is now clear if Pacman Vs. Mayweather happens there will only be one winner..... Mayweather.

Thats if that fight ever happens as we have been promised that fight before.

Re: Boxing 2011

There is no doubt Mayweather will flatten Manny based on last night's performance but 1 poor showing is relatively little to go off.

If anyone is going to stop Mayweather its Amir Khan next year.

Re: Boxing 2011

It's not one poor showing though.
It's 4.

Before this he hasn't looked impressive against Mosley, Margarito, or Clottey.

There is no doubt in my mind that Mayweather would comfortably beat Manny. He hasn't impressed me for a long time now.

TBH I cant see Kahn doing him either. Kahn's chin is still very suspect.

I think Khan has a better chance than Manny, but I don't think anyone will beat Mayweather.

Mayweather's a great fighter but a fight with Pacquiao will be a lot closer then you think.

He just lost to Marquez (I don't care what the cards say, he lost that fight, it wasn't even close).

Marquez is the same style as Mayweather, only Mayweather is a level above.

Pacquiao doesn't have the power to stop Mayweather. He won't hit him enough to win on points.

Well we shall see when their camps eventually get the fight on.:)
