Re: F1 2010/11 closed/pre season discussion
Sounds like he was stuck in the car for over an hour until the right cutting equipment could be brought in :(
This along with the Mark Webber and his bike incident could well make more teams insist on their drivers not doing a lot of activities. Then on the other hand the driver want`s to stay as fit and sharp as possible, is probably an adrenaline junky anyway so where do you draw the line! Simulators are all well and good but are far from the real thing... I can`t see him racing for 6 months minimum. |

Nick Heidfeld is taking over Kubica's seat for testing.. Would be nice to see him take over for the proper races if any whilst Robert is recovering

Update on Kubica's condition from Autosport.
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/89370 Kubica has left the intensive care unit and has been moved to the normal ward following another good night He is now scheduled to undergo surgery to his foot and humerus tomorrow morning, before having an elbow operation on Monday. The operations are expected to last around four hours each. After that, Kubica will return to the intensive care unit for post-surgery course. Italian media reports that, if all goes well, the Renault driver could be discharged from hospital as early as the end of next week Sounds about as positive as it could under the circumstances. Best regards, Martin |

Ford sues Ferrari over car name. Don't think you'd have any trouble distinguishing them!

Re: F1 2010/11 closed/pre season discussion
the article is out of date already. The car is now called the F-150 Italia and Ferrari will refer to it as that at all times, which it was anyway, and now drop the shorthand F-150.
As Ferrari stated they aren't selling, now ever will sell, the F-150 so not where the problem is to be honest |

Barrichello in the Williams fastest after day 4 of the test.
Good news for the team, they have a really technically innovative low line gear box and rear suspension setup to maximize airflow to the rear wing assembly. http://scarbsf1.wordpress.com/2011/0...wline-gearbox/ https://www.cableforum.co.uk/images/...2011/02/69.jpg ---------- Post added at 21:27 ---------- Previous post was at 21:24 ---------- Quote:
