Did you read the original question Tom? The thread didnt answer my question enough in my opinion to say that it was an informative thread, it discussed shutter and polarized glasses but nothing from forum members discussed 3D TV and how they project images, IE; In full colour and with or without glasses.

I was looking for members to post about their experiences, if they had seen a 3DTV in action, and if they used glasses or not, or perhaps if anyone knew of any developments to make TV's that done need glasses at all.

Well we only ordered it last night, if thats the case then i'm sure if we ring Littlewoods up we can get the cashback. However when we bought it there was no mention of this, and buy now pay march only allows you to pay over 156 weeks, which i dont mind as thats the only way i can afford it anyway.

Thanks though Zing, I will mention it to my Fiance and see if we can sort it out before its too late.

My name is Thomas. Yes I read the original question. As I said, it was answered straight away.

Anyway, with regards to this thread, you've made your choice and at the end of the day it's your money so you rock on. I don't believe it's anything to do with me or anyone else what you spend it on.

As for not taking advice that is also entirely your prerogative, and you are not he only person on here who ignores sound advice so I doubt you'll be the last.

you have to go through the website Littlewoods will not give it you

Ive just looked on the Littlewoods site and if you do not pay for the tv by the end of the buy now pay later period and you do pay £35 a week the tv alone will cost you £5500 so if you have done the same with the rest of the kit its all going to cost you the princely sum of nearly £11000

first of all, it is a HDTV as well as a 3DTV, so I am not going to be losing anything by getting this updated version.
Apart from about £4000 :D

LOL No Zing its £2999 for the TV, and you get the Blu-Ray and 2 Pairs of Glasses free when you buy 4 Pairs of Glasses and the Blu-ray, It didnt work out like that though, we ended up saving about £550 but the total cost of everything we have ordered including APR is £6300 give or take, if it was 11k i would no way buy it, the only reason its 6300 is because its over 3 years at high intrest.

Save up for 3 years, get a better telly then and it'll be half the price. Simples. It's not like you're suffering at the mo with a 50inch TV already is it. You have a blu ray player as well, so for something that's not going to be hardly used you're paying stupid amounts for basically nothing.

Edit
Sorry I was talking logical again, ignore me :D

Is that 50" tv a 1080p or not because if it is only 1080i then you will not get more than £400 from anyone in there right mind as you can buy a 50" 1080i Panasonic, TV for £600 you can also get the 50" 1080p Panasonic TV for £800 so where you think you are going to get around £1000 for the tv from, i don't know but i wouldn't give you more than £400 for it regardless of 1080p or not, because it is used and the warranty is almost up and the fact that i can buy a brand new for not much more.

Its not worth 1000 anyway, i was just using that as an example to round off the numbers rather than saying 650 and 2999+399+169+169 and so on.

The TV I have is Panasonic TXP50C10B with a Blu Ray Player thats Also Panasonic.

Its still under warranty with the catalogue as well as Panasonic.

There are a only a few places that have this TV in stock. The entire country has sold out.

There will be a few people who won't see the 3D effect as it's your brain that does the calculations.

3D can give some serious health concerns.

What model is the panasonic and how much you want?

Im asking 650 for the tv and blu-ray, I also dont think the health risks are important, its not like we will be watching 3D constantly, and everyone at our house can see 3D via the red/blue glasses, i think the health risks will be for people with epilepsy, at the end of the day its not going to be much different to going to the cinema which people do all the time.

ps - see my other post for model above
