It seems to be easy for people to look upon these foetus's as no living but they are

Not as poor as Africa, but we have poor people none the less.

But that depends of the definition of poor . We have social security and housing benefits yes people still struggle but its not like some places in the world. And besides rightly or wrongly a poor woman giving birth gets housed and funded so they do not have to struggle to much so the life for the child I would be say is worth living well anythings better than being dead pretty much for the majority

So which would you prefer Zing? Medical abortions in sterile clinics with doctors, or backstreet abortions and home abortions with gin (it's not called mother's ruin for nothing) and a coathanger?

Which is why, while I don't think Abortions should be made easy,I don't think they should be banned.

I would prefer a more sexually moral society where precautions are taken and unwanted pregnancies reduced massively because of this. As stated the pill and condoms are 99% effective so thats 99 out of 100 less abortions if everyone was responsable

Forced contraceptives perhaps then?

Harldy, had I said "So you think forced contraceptives should be administrered then?" you may have a point, but you'll noticed I didn't say anything of the sort, I asked a question, an open one with the use of "perhaps?"

Given that people are inherently not responsible, if you are to be believed that multiple abortions are being performed not (as those involved report) on people who are using contraception already, but as a form of primary contraception by women who can't be bothered to use the pill or condoms, then should the responsibility be taken out of their irresponsible hands?

Or how can we make them more responsible? (an ideal solution I agree)

There's something in the water ;)

Or put a block of wood, about an inch thick inside the right shoe of every man.
It'll make them limp you see ;)

Maybe a fine for abortions above 1 . Then if they end up doing themselves an injury with back street abortions or home made ones then afaik tough they should have kept their legs closed

I suspect the only way we could do that is section them. Not a good solution at all.

I think that one thing the government and/or media could do is increase the amount of coverage the subject gets on TV. Hell, the best programmes on TV covering sex education (in fact the only long running ones), ITV's "The Good Sex Guide" and "The Good Sex Guide Late" got cancelled after a couple of years.

AIDS hasn't gone away, but if you looked at the media coverage it (and other STDs) get in this country, you could be forgiven for thinking it has.

Re: Multiple abortions

At the end of the day people are responsible for their actions and they should be made to take said responsibility. A child is the greatest gift a woman can be given and the love of children is second to none. I have conceded certain cases where abortion is understandable but I will stand by the abortion for choice as being wrong till the bitter end no matter what
