A bit of rain and wind in the morning and late afternoon here, nothing major. The sun even appeared ;)

Re: Severe storm on the way
last night and in the early hours of the morning here it was very windy but nothing compared to how it was in the late afternoon around 4pm-6pm... the wind was extremely fears and very strong... it actually became so strong for a time people started running into the nearest shops it was quite funny.
it rained very heavy in the late afternoon too. |

In Jersey, yesterday -my favourite place to be - so far... (bar Tresco, Scilly Isles)
The storm did what nothing during, or since, WWII has been able to. A child on a school bus recorded this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywQ8V2MK0d8 it wasn't even high tide. |

A bit breezy on the coast this morning.
I'm not as quick as I used to be and got a little bit wet at one point. :) http://www.flickr.com/photos/deltawh...7604104052223/ |
Re: Severe storm on the way
You could describe the winds in Manchester as a tad blustery.
I was knocked over on to my derrière as I came around the side of my house this morning. :( |
