Great result for us against Birmingham the other night, bring on wigan on saturday. The only downside being that Edwards is out for a month :(
Interesting to see on SSN that betting on the first EPL manager to be sacked has been suspended . apparently a massive amount being placed on Martin Jol ????? |

Tottenham boss Martin Jol has been given the dreaded vote of confidence - two games into the season. (Star) |

Jol would be in my list but i would have Sammy Lee at Bolton, and also Gareth Southgate at Middlesbrough ahead of him. After the money spurs have spent in this window it would be madness to boot him now ?? |

Re: Football : Season 2007/2008
It's a double edged sword with sky and football, the amount of money going in is obscene. and yet there is a generation of armchair fans who demand instant success :( spoils the game completely. To sack any manager just two games into a season is lunacy
As a side issue, I really hope that the latest reports about Sunderlands new potential signing are not true |
Re: Football : Season 2007/2008
well if Spurs sack Jol already after what Jol has done to the team getting them in the 2 years that he has been manager always in the UEFA cup isnt too bad considering as well that if correct spurs were close to relegation 3 years ago,.

Re: Football : Season 2007/2008
