Trust me, you got out at the right time. The end of season 2 signalled a turning point for the worse, and season 3 was thought to be as bad as BSG could possibly get, but season 4 has somehow managed to reach a new low. It's no wonder that the show has lost nearly 70% of its viewership and that this will be its final season. It seems to me that most viewers are just hanging on to see how it ends. Ronald D Moore has disappeared so far up his own youknowwhat it isn't even funny, and unfortunately for us, he took BSG with him.

I liked season 3 & 4... not always as good as the first two, but still IMO far better than most other shows at the time.

Well the ending was certainly unexpected. Its actually made me want to see the final 11 eps. Did anyone else notice that the final (12th/5th) cylon was not in the fleet ?

There was me expecting to find out who the last cylon would be, and we didn't get it. :( But that ending. What will they do now........

Me too, a good scene is always worth paying homage to. On the other hand they didn't actually show anything that I could recognise, unlike the original.

What will they focus on? I know they have found earth but the story seem decided and there were only meant to be another 10 episodes before the end of the show. Will this be, like Razor, 2 episodes from the season made into a movie (so we would have 8 'normal' episodes next year as opposed to 10) or in addition to what already is planned

I'd be surprised if we didn't see a spin-off either of that (which would be limited), or of the colonies resistance movement.....

Maybe see the events of the mini-series and season 1 from the cylon point of view? Could include the mission Adama was on were they crossed the treaty line before the cylons attacked, the build up to the attack (including number 6 and Baltar), into the attack itself

This is in addition to the final 10 episodes, which have already been filmed.

BTW, the first 10 episodes have already been on in the UK, so no need to use spoiler tags.
