Yes, you can play while charging but the connection for controller is still wireless for playing.

Ok try this as playing while charging isn't what the discussion is about now as i agreed you could charge while playing using a V1 controller to your #387 post.

The discussion moved on to this as i was just pointing out the differences, i will give up if you don't understand this. lol :)

V1 - Only lets you play via a wireless signal while plugged into the PS4 while charging or when not plugged in.

V2 - Using a V2 via the cable plugged into the PS4 means you can configure the V2 controller in the devices options to either use Bluetooth or a USB cable to play a game.

Just edited the V2 controller to say you have to enable this feature in the options to either use bluetooth or USB for games.

It is. I'm so happy about Bioshock as had them all on Xbox back when they came out.

Was good to get the Uncharted trilogy this month too.

Sims 4 I might play. Not played it since Sims 2 on the PC back in the day.

So got PS VR for my birthday yesterday. Didn't get the move controllers, however Argos and game had been getting stock over the last week.

Yesterday evening Amazon got them for about 11 mins and I managed to order them with 16% off, so only £59.08.

It's really awesome, bought and completed the Doctor Who VR game and played London Heist on VR Worlds. Its a brilliant wee game. Blood & Truth is also fantastic. Might pick that up as it's on sale just now. Played a few other demos too. Once iget the move controllers next week ill get Beat Saver.

It's a big mess of wires though. Need to find a way to tidy it all up. .

Awesome, I don't get a mess of wires here, the breakout box is plugged in at front of pro and that wire runs under console then if I want to use it I take PSVR out of foot stool and plug in, once you find where to store it it is easier.

So no motion sickness?

I don't do scary haha. The weeping angels in the Doctor Who game made me jump out my skin, so don't know about that.

No montion sickness at all, I played it for about 3-4 straight hours. 2 hrs on Doctor Who and then London Heist followed by Street Luge.

I'll need to sort it as I have my USB hard drive plugged in the back so the box is plugged at the front just now. So it's a jumble on the floor.

I will likely sell mine as the novelty wore off quickly I just prefer playing on a good TV and the motion sickness is annoying although using it alot may improve that as I find normal none VR games an issue but I can stop that by changing their motion blur settings, unfortunately Assassin Creed Syndicates didn't have a setting but after playing for ages I got used to it.

Terrible choice of games. Two sim type games together isn't much variety.

Skylines is a great game though. I've had it for my MacBook Pro since it came out. Can usually waste hours on it.

Recently picked up Jurrasic World Evolution though and that is a great game. So if I redeem this months games I will likely not play them.

Just tried the iron Man VR demo. If you have VR give it a shot it's really good and fun to play. Glad it's a full proper game and not just an experience like the Spider-Man one was.

They movement and flight of iron man is really well done. Hopefully it doesn't make you feel sick.

You get a tutorial level and then a mission from the start of the game. It was quiet a large file size too for a demo.

Always wondered why someone prefers physical disks, is it so you can stare at it on the shelf and feel like you own it?

Surely you would benefit alot from not having to get out of your chair to swap disks all the time?

I moved to digital as it worked out alot cheaper than buying a disk as i bought in sales and the convenience of not getting on my hands and knees every time i wanted to play a different game.

Good game, although I do own the physical game disc. Wonder what the other game will be? Can't be worse than Farming SIM, lol.

I do buy a lot of digital games now, usually when they are on sale. However for my Switch I still by physical as Nintendo games always hold value. I also get physical if it's a franchise I am heavily into. However I love the convenience of not swapping discs fom digital.

I just worry with digital games that in future I will no longer be able to play them when the stores go offline. Where as my physical copies will always work. I still have a small collection of retro consoles and games going back to the 16 bit era.

Call me old fashioned but it just feels better owning your own copy as its a bit like someone who owns their own physical copy of a Album or a old 45.

Also a 12 month PS plus sub. Although having activated it it's not showing in my subscription? It's just giving me the end date of my current one. Is that supposed to happen?

PS Plus games get renewed the first Tuesday of every month.

They will then be yours to keep as long as you keep your subscription active, if you stop the sub you lose access to the games until you re sub.

No I never got an email. When I reentered the code it told me it had been used.

The first time I entered it, it told me what it was and to continue to accept it. That's when the blip happened and it put me back to the code entry page.

I've contacted them on twitter this morning but no response yet.

The problem is i wouldn't purchase another topup until this one is sorted otherwise is may complicate it.

I'm sure Sony have a record of you using the code and then they can figure out it never got added to your account.

If it was me i would have purchased a £50 top up from CDkeys.com for £42, then purchased the sub direct from Sony for £35 which would have worked out cheaper.

I was unsure so i held off on previous sales, but this £11-£12 offer got me finally.

But i agree if unsure don't buy and only buy when you really want a game and on the cheap.

4am!!!! My alarms for work go off from 4:45am, thats when i drag my limp body out for a hard working day, then i fall asleep on the sofa after work.

Haha, I sometimes have trouble sleeping at the moment or I end up taking naps early afternoon, due to my health conditions. Kidney failure being one of them.

I've just subscribed to Twitch Prime free via Amazon Prime so i can watch the PS5 games reveal 9pm tomorrow night with my Sony headset as that is recommended for hearing the new sound.

As far as Sony are concerned, it's not possible for a code to be assigned to an account you aren't logged in to and that the retailer must have sold a code that's already been used or sold to more than one person.

Even though I provided enough evidence to show the voucher code was fine and as they had the time of when it got used, which was 3 mins after I bought it, and I have only one account which I logged into using 2 step verification, then there is no possibility it could be anything other than their servers that were at fault. Activating the code on a random account when it logged me out after entering the code on the website. Again no sir that's not possible.

Well my experience shows it IS possible and it happened. But thankfully Shopto just issued a code with no questions after I explained.
