On the positive side, all of the snotty, 'orrible kids who think it's alright to ping snowballs off your windscreen no longer come anywhere near my car (or me ;) ), after I was forced to 'have a word' (ahem) with them last week :disturbd:

The bizarre thing is, thanks to that global warming thingy, our mild autumn has seen to it that all the shrubs and most of the trees (all except the silver birches, which you can see looking naked and a bit purple in the middle distance) are only just dropping their leaves.

Snow and leaves in the same shot! And I've just put more coal on the fire. :erm:
