Home made asparagus and pea risotto - just simmering at the moment, and about to add the Parmesan, lemon juice/zest, and Crème fraîche.

Saturday - I jointed a chicken and cooked on my foukou as souvla, halumi, flat breads, salad.
Sunday - Hand of pork from farmer's market. Slowish cooked on barbie, applewood smoke. Plenty left over for curries etc.

Home made* beef Balti curry. Basmati rice.

*A Patak's curry paste was used.

To be perfectly honest even my OH uses Patak's or Sharwoods sometimes.

Duck breast, noodles, in hoisin sauce (sprinkled with finely chopped spring onions and sesame seeds).

All steak Pukka pies*, potato waffles, broccoli and baby sprouts.

*£1 a pop together with the other fillings at Sainsbury's at the moment.

Baked potatoes filled with home made beef and mixed bean chilli. A sprinkle of grated Parmigiano Reggiano D.O.P.

Have you put grated cheese on these? I put cheese on them when ready, but back in the oven for another 5 minutes.

Does anyone remember Bird's Eyes, Cheese & Potato Waffles. Possibly back in the 80's a yellowish box IIRC

Cheese and Branston Toasties. Eating them has left me with a burnt tongue and fingers but OMG they were delicious. :D

That sounds nice jo :drool: as l remember putting jam on very lightly toasted bread and then putting it underneath the grill until the jam was hot when l was younger.
