I was in Currys the other day for a new headset - one of the few in stock.

Big place, 11 staff, 3 customers (one that was returning a purchase).

The young(ish) girl that dealt with me had no idea how to get the security tag off, then spent 5 minutes trying to work the 'till' and asking me about extended insurance and all that extra crap.

Another mattress topper to add to my bed story topper. They aren't foam of any kind. They are both stuffed generously especially the bed story topper. The additional topper is a aircloud 6cm deep topper. Both priced very low. eBay £28 bed story. Vinted £10 aircloud. :D

My favourite Polish lager, enough to last until xmas. I may blink and order more as Robber Reeves gets ready for her Annual Budget.

Well on the 11/10 I went to the Fountain Pen show in London and bought a Conway Stewart Alan Turin Fountain pen, it is a limited edition of 251, It was RRP £690, but at the show I paid £620.

It writes lovely, next year I might get a Churchill one similar price

You paid £620 for a pen

I can think of far better things to spend £620 on than a pen!!!

I am all for buying things you want over things you need. Life is for living and you can't take it with you . I keep buying new computers. My Mum has left me 5K in her Will so I intend to buy a new PC around a 9800X3d CPU even though I have a 13700k PC and a 14700K PC but feck it

A new double mattress

My £70 mattress has lasted long enough. Time will tell if black Friday would have better pricing but I doubt they could beat £449.99

5 bottles of Nando's medium Peri Peri sauce 500g... For £3. (1 cost £3.98 alone). And I got a refund of a £10 gift card on top. Due to a complete and utter cock up on their part. Happy days... lol. That's Amazon for you. :D

I checked Quidco. It was for 1%. I didn't bother. I know I should have. My bad :(

I always check Topcashback and don't bother with Quidco, so I do the opposite and likely miss a good cashback.

Btw have you used the EVERUP app yet because in the last month I've got £10.54 cashback from it with Tesco Gift Cards, basically the cashback pays for part of the next card each time so it's instant?

I have to set a reminder every Friday to buy a £50 gift card for my weekend shop, 5% off my shopping each week in nothing to be sniffed at.
