Travel XP is launching on Freeview, but no indication yet of whether it will be coming to VM.

I think this may be SD only, in which case, probably not. Now if it was UHD....:romance:

Media Boy EXCLUSIVE: BT Showcase is showing LIVE football on Virgin Media UK.

Media Boy HQ can confirmed that Virgin Media UK will broadcast Marselle VS Salzburg tonight (April 26th) from 8pm on BT Sport Showcase on Virgin UK Channel 548.*

Viewers can also watch in HD on Virgin UK Channel 529.

*It will show the BT Sport 3 logo.

Interesting that this channel is continuing on Virgin Media, as someone was saying that the channel would be closing down on Freeview.

Bit of an odd one. It's called 'BT Sport Free' in the channel guide PDF and on my V6 box it's called 'BT SptShow' for the limited character title and the full unlimited title 'BT Sport Show'. Only the logo actually has the correct name, BT Sport Showcase.

MB, The BBC are planning to stream their world cup games on the iPlayer in 4K/UHD, any news if the V6 will carry these streams? Or will we have to watch them through the iPlayer app on our tvs?

I guess because the BBC haven't definitely confirmed it, it's hard to tell...probably answered my own question haha

No news on what may happen with the BBC UHD Channel.

But with few hours to go before May we think it safe to reveal that the name of the UHD Channel will NOT launch by tomorrow on Virgin Media UK.

Note the following name was given to us in 2017.

-We was told back in 2017 that Discovery/Eurosport UHD may launch on Virgin UK by May 2018.

Unconfirmed rumours are coming in to Media Boy HQ that

• Premier Sports 2 HD
• Premier Sports 2
• FreeSports
• FreeSports HD

are all set to launch in July as Premier Sports reveal THAT Premier Sports to show every Guinness PRO14 Game from next season.

We still to see if Virgin Media UK will carry all the channels listed plus Premier Sports HD from July.

The rumour new HD Channels launch are still NOT confirmed!

We mean Premier Sports PRO 14 info page says "(We are) Confident of reaching an agreement with Virgin Media to broadcast FreeSports during the summer".

But the PRO 14 web sites says that FreeSports are "launching this summer".

It just an case of wait and see until Virgin Media UK, Media Boy Sources or JJ20X Confirmed.
