If, like me, you enjoyed season one of Vikings on History and are looking forward to season two later this month then there is some bad news. Season three will now be an Amazon Prime exclusive. http://www.tvwise.co.uk/2015/02/amaz...ings-season-3/

Let's hope that an Amazon Prime app appears on TiVo before then.

Yes perhaps Virgin can give us a nice surprise before those nasty price rises kick in.

The Amazon Prime app is currently only available on the US Tivo Roamio.

http://support.tivo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/259

Some reports have said it will come to the Tivo Premier (which the VM Tivo is based on) sometime in 2015.

TiVo noted at the time that apps for Vudu and the Amazon Prime enhancements would also become available to earlier-generation Premiere boxes sometime in 2015.
So, if it does eventually come, it won't be before the price rise comes in.

Personally, I hope it does come and ASAP as the two bluray players that I have with Amazon Prime on, don't give me 5.1 audio. Reports from the US say that the Amazon Prime app on the Roamio gives 1080p/24 with 5.1 audio.

Season 1 & 2 where Amazon exclusives for about 12 months before hitting UK TV screens. Season 3 should make its way onto History around March 2016

Ooh, I hope so. Better late than never. It would be great if History HD appeared on Virgin Media before then.
