I mean, my house and Mums house, both on 700k, some speed tests say 700, but in practice it seems dodgy....we had one that said 24k....

No 1Mb STB customers have been upgraded, as part of the trial or otherwise. As has been said a couple of times, we need to swap the boxes out, apparently.

Broadband Upgrade - Such excitement

Imagine my excitement when I get my bill from NTL stating that my 600k BB is going to be come 750k some time during August (check ntlworld.co.uk it says, for more details). So I rush to my PC and before I get chance to check the website, I have an email from NTL - 600K BB to 750k during August.

I can contain my excitement no longer, so rush to the website as fast as my fingers will allow me to type. The suspense is mounting as I'm prompted for my Post Code so they can tell me exactly when this is going to be. I enter my Post Code, click the button, and.......

Your service is due to be upgraded during the month of August

Talk about "anti-climax"!
