I did go to the Oldham v Coventry game yesterday, it made me realise that even after this seasons performances my United season ticket is still well worth paying for, it was a dire match.

Biggest single mistake made by Moyes was to clear out the coaching staff and radically alter training methods.

I agree. He should have kept them or at least most of them

It always amuses me when people make that sort of comparison - SAF joined a much different club in 1986 than Moyes in 2013, plus SAF had a history of success.

Yep, said this time and time again, this isn't the 80's anymore, you simply cannot afford to give managers the time Ferguson did especially given you've just taken over what now is a footballing powerhouse.

Do you reckon Moyes said its still mathematically possible for Man Utd to get top 4

Alex Ferguson 'must take share of blame' at Man Utd.

What like utd were after Busby left, we all know where that road led, here's hoping history repeats itself

Nobody said SAF never got it wrong but another thing I've said all along is Moyes was his final mistake.

He is still director Russ. Plenty of time to screw something else.

The question is how much of a say will he have in the choosing of their next manager.

True but being a director (non-executive I believe) means any decision/suggestion he now makes has to be ok'd by the rest of the board.

Rumour is that Moyes is going to stand for UKIP.;)

He knows how to get out of Europe. :)
