Rumoured on digitalspy that BT Sport have won exclusive rights to EFL, announcement coming Friday morning.

Please be true!

If that is true then Sky will be pooing in their pants after tomorrow morning.

The price of SKY over paying for PL perhaps?

If true I wonder if it includes the League Cup as well?

Come next PL auction BT could be a bit more relaxed and just make sure they keep their 42 games, in fact BT would probably be happy to drop the midweeks.

I need to calm down and not get ahead myself here :D

I cannot see Sky losing TV rights whatsoever.

BT may put in crazy money, but The EFL and PL will stay with them. BT will probably get the normal.

Interesting i wonder if that's why SKY offered me SKYQ free with top pack for £40pm for 3 years (18 month contract) today when i phoned to drop my skygo extra sub.

I hope its not true, that would make it far more expensive. :(

Its only £4 extra now to add EFL to your sport on Sky.

I seriously doubt you will get BT sport for £4 extra.

Depends how you look at it, it would be cheaper for many. If like myself you are no Sky lover and either have BT Sport via BT Tv or Virgin Media Full House etc... it currently costs you considerably more if I want to add Sky Sports to get EFL. BT might increase the cost a bit but I doubt it will be an extra £25-£30+ or the £xx for box sets plus an extra £18pm plus the bull***t HD charge

Agreed, the b???????t HD charge for sports (no such charge for Movies) is ridiculous, especially these days where HD is pretty much standard - you would have thought they would charge extra for UHD.

Rumour update, well all sorts of different variations on what's happened over night but I suppose the most viable one is what Charles Sale is saying in his Daily Mail column that there could be a second round of bidding for EFL rights.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/art...TV-rights.html

Every time Sky have lost to BT in the initial round of bids they have always won in the second round. Hence why BT had to blow them out of the water for CL.
