I hope you have heard how Mr T's operation went by now. Thinking of you both. <<<hugs>>>

Thank you Den. Apparently it peaks at around 25 and then again around 60.

I didn't get it much when I was younger but I did get dreadful hay fever which is a related condition.

Mr T's operation was postponed as urgent cases came in, today is fully booked, so hopefully tomorrow he will be 'done'. :(

Hate when this happens. I got bumped twice for one operation but the year before when it was me needing to be operated on immediately due to a perforated appendix I really understood why these decisions have to be made. I am sure Mr T will be seen as quickly as possible and then be home soon after.

I got up this morning and had to crawl on my hands and knees to the toilet, my hip was so painful. I've had this pain now for 42 days despite 2 visits to the Chiropractor, 1 lot of acupuncture and one deep massage by physiotherapist. It was suggested to me that I put a pillow between my knees when sleeping, I tried it last night, it didn't work. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated. :(

After trying all sorts of medication without success , the Doc decided to go old school and prescribed cheap and cheerful amitriptyline. It doesn't work 100% but the pain in my arms is bearable (even the constant feeling of having banged my funny bone) and the migraines are now so rare I can't remember when the last one was. Wonder if it may help?

Many thanks for that Grim, but I am already on 2 x 10mg amitriptyline a night, plus I take zapain (POM) 2 tablets every 4-5 hours, and Fenbid gel nothing is working. Strange that his pain keeps moving around, it started in my right hip and has gradually move to the left.

It only took me only 35 minutes in queue number 13 to get through to the Doctor's surgery this morning, that is a result! However I wonder how many days before I get a telephone consultation.

Hospitals are terrible for getting through.
When my wife was in hospital I would phone up, finally after getting through I would get put through to the ward, and then either no one would pick up, or if they did pick up and say they will go and find out some information for you, someone else would put the phone back down and cut you off.

Mine is the easy open/close zip lock they put on grated cheese that take about 10 minutes to shut.
