Maybe that's why there's no comment as yet from OT?

No but if they've made a decision they do need to say.

If they've made the decision and don't disclose it the NYSE will be asking questions. It designed to stop insider trading and so forth. Effectivelly you can't have the stock market open with some shareholders knowing more about issues that will impact upon the share price and others not knowing.

Also according to TalkSport:

Man United told @talkSPORT that Moyes "Definitely not been sacked"

Been not being.
No way did every paper run this story at the same time by accident.

Ofcourse same with Wengers contract but theres room to maneuver in. Man Utd don't need to declare serious talks or serious consideration of sacking Moyes. Until their dead certain nothing needs to be declared so Honigstein might have a point where Man Utd are making him sweat or trying.

Extremes. The Glazers are running Man Utd not the stock exchange.

No but they're bound by the rules of the stock exchange. If they've told some outsiders, which is likely given the stories, they need to tell the stock exchange.

Told outsiders what exactly? There are mixed reports and even then how will this sacking come about? Theres a lot still unanswered. The stock exchange can do one.

They're a professional business listed on the stock exchange. They have to abide by their rules. Now we don't know who they've told, if anyone, I am just stating the fact that if they have made a decision they need to tell the stock exchange sharpish or fall foul of their selective disclosure rules which will prompt charges. They're defence would have to be better than 'you can do one'.

The defence would be no decision was made but there was talk internally. Manchester United do not have to declare that so yes you can do one!

As for professional.. I'd like to know how professional GM think the Chevy deal is.

It's all nonsense. I will only believe it when it's official. A newspaper ran a report and the rest followed to get sales and viewing figures. He will be given more time.

Yes. Let's give him more time to run a footballing powerhouse into the ground. Moyes to Newcastle. Wenger to United. Pardew to Arsenal!

Isn't it similar to when Ferguson announced his retirement? It was leaked the day before they told the stock exchange?

The piece says Allegri has been in contact with Tottenham. I don't think Monaco should go for Allegri.

What will happen to Fergie now if this happens. Carry on as director, reinstalled as manager, leave ?
