It was the best 40in TV I could find for the bedroom and couldn't go any bigger in size, but it's QLED and will only be used for streaming services like BeeTV, Amazon Prime, arrives tomorrow, wish me luck!

Out of the box the TV was so light it felt like a cheap toy but actually looks good and after spending sometime messing with the picture settings as everything seemed too bright the picture and sound seem pretty good compared to my old 20 year old 32in Samsung, so over all it's exceeded my expectations for such a cheap bedroom TV.

Daveeb already guessed the brand correctly, it's Hisense 40A5NQTUK and a brand I would never consider buying for the living room but at £209 for a QLED it seems great in the bedroom, I also got 3 months Apple TV with it because I bought it from Currys which I have just managed to eventually redeem after it complained I'd had too many free trials so had to make a new account. Ultimately I couldn't be happier with how this bottom of the barrel brand looks and performs.

Downstairs I've got an expensive top of the range Mini Led so I wanted something better than a 20 year old 32in in the bedroom.

Well it's not dated it has a c port very nice. Personally I'd feel horrible without 4k. I did however purchase two Asus FHD monitors some weeks ago for an office setup. I guess what you're connecting takes priority.

40in TV in the bedroom is the max size I was happy to go to, so 1080p on this is perfectly acceptable for it's usage which will only be streaming apps so that'll be paid Amazon Prime, trials of Apple TV once in a blue moon and then my dodgy BeeTV app which is awesome as it gives me any movie or TV show in great quality and seems to be very reliable, I have no interest in live TV broadcasts, so all this is via an Amazon 4K firestick so don't even have to visit the naff TV interface but from my short tests even that seems ok with the built in apps.

Otex Express Ear Drops £4.15 in superdrug
https://www.otexear.com/products/ote...ess-ear-drops/

On Saturday I got out the shower to blockage in my right ear. I know I shouldn't but I had to do something so I stuck an ear bud in to clear or move ear wax around which did relieve and clear the blockage. Now I'm on these ear drops for 3-4 days. I'll be treating both ears so 6-8 days one at a time.

Clear hearing is scary  I got frightened by the sound of my shorts brushing

Skirt steaks from Morrisons to make jerky for the lad.

One inch thick ribeye steak, cut from the joint by the Morrisons’ butcher, for my Wednesday dinner (SWMBO & our daughter going to Manchester to see Moulin Rouge).

So, steak dinner, bottle of Shiraz, and catch up on Foundation series 2 episodes 6-10.

I must admit, I watch Foundation, but have little idea of any of the actors or actresses names.

I brought this

https://www.asus.com/uk/accessories/...ming-m5-mouse/

on vinted new for £4.74, Delivery cost more than the actual device  £1 product + 75p buyer fee + £2.99 Delivery.

I've just set it up looking for a fault but I've found nothing but a working mouse  Crate and creator has the RGB and buttons customized.
