Yes, it doesn't seem to have moved yet. Yet they were running adverts all day yesterday promoting the channel move so unless it happens during the day sometime the move must have been cancelled.

That's what I was thinking, but every ad break they had yesterday, they were saying from Monday Gold is moving from channel 959 on Virgin to channel 923. Probably move overnight tonight then.

No (London area) but was expecting to as my wife heard on air announcement that it was moving to Channel 923 today.

Not an fan of Gold Radio so Media Boy HQ did not hear any announcement.

With Gold Radio set to move to Channel 923 soon here is the full list of Global Radio Channels on Virgin Media in the Radio area of the EPG right now:

Note: the ones inside the (text) may move later this week on Virgin Media.

Global Radio Channels numbers (May happen later this week):
-916. Smooth FM (Maybe rebrand as Smooth Radio)
-918. Heart London
-919. LBC News 1152 (May move for LBC to use slot)
-921. (Capital London)
-922. Classic FM
-923. (Gold Radio)
-925. (XFM London)
-926. (Capital Xtra)
-929. (LBC or LBC News 1152)

If Gold Radio do move it look like Virgin Media has signed an new deal with Global Radio unless Global Radio has told Virgin Media to move Gold Radio.

If new deal has been signed we may also get:

•Capital FM TV
•Heart FM TV
•The Arrow
•Smooth Radio Extra (Only on DAB and Virgin?)

To be fair, the radio section of the EPG could use some tidying up.

Global are making various changes to their channel portfolio on DAB and it is possible that there will be knock on effects for carriage on VM and other platforms. Maybe VM will be getting the new "Heart Extra" channel when it launches on DAB.

Also, if you are wildly speculating about Global adding every channel in their portfolio, don't forget that they still operate Chill.

I believe Global are going to be launching quite a few new stations next year the first will be heart Extra which will replace smooth xmas

Not really, the model to follow is Benfica TV HD which as well as being the club channel shows a lot of other good sporting events, it's something I believe MUTV is trying to emulate having shown quite a few live international matches since they bought themselves out.

Fans of Liverpool FC TV will need to pay £7 per month extra.

LFC TV has relaunch on Virgin Channel 544 today.
