At £5.00 a day I would cancel my Sky Sports sub and pay the days my football team are on it would allow me to watch them 4 times a month and still be cheaper than a Sky Sports sub people would cancel in there droves.

why when it more expensive than monthly sub MM surely that don't make sence and sky would still make big profit if was that price if it just football you watch then it would make sence yes but sure you watch more than just footy on sky sports as that's one of reason you moved to sky wasn't it to get them all in HD

Because many sub to Sky Sports purely for one sport hence why cricket fans feel so aggreived with the cost paid for premiership football , sure there's those die hards who watch Sky Sports everyday but there's also many who tend to primarily watch when there team is on something I've been guilty of many months which at £5.00 your suggested price would result in many electing for the pay per view option resulting in lost subscribers and why in my opinion the day pass has been priced at £9.99 , I agree what your saying it wouldn't be a viable option for me at that price as it would end up costing me more but I can certainly see why Sky priced it this way.

With 5.1 audio?

Haven't a clue on that , I read an interview at launch which said they would like to distribute HD adaptive bitrate streaming but they weren't there yet unlike Netflix who is a lot maturer a player in the streaming market , you would think somewhere down the product roadmap that HD and 5.1 audio will figure but as to when I don't know. I have to say Netflix is the real deal when it comes to streaming technology.

Any news on what happend with the announcement from Box Nation?

Well it wasn't a deal with BT in the end:

http://www.hl.co.uk/shares/aim-and-s...nnel-boxnation

"Media Corp., an AIM-listed online gaming company, said Wednesday it has entered an exclusive agreement with Boxing Channel Media to supply betting services to its TV channel, BoxNation.

The three-year deal marks the firm's first white label contract win - enabling it to capitalise on its Intabet software platform on a revenue sharing basis.

Media Corp. will provide the platform for an internet sportsbook and casino to be integrated with the BoxNation website, offering a full range of sports betting and casino games, with an emphasis on boxing.

Through the servie users will be able to place bets through the proposed BoxNation betting platform.

Phil Jackson, Chairman of Media Corp, said: "This represents the first application of our white label service. We are delighted to win the contract to deliver betting and, over time, casino products to the only dedicated boxing channel in the world.

"BoxNation has a large and growing subscriber base and we believe boxing and betting go hand in hand and we are looking forward to developing a profitable and long term relationship with BoxNation as they grow into a leading sports channel around the world."

The deal is subject to an initial feasibility assessment period of three months.

The share price leapt 25% to 0.15p by 08:55."

Still time for Virgin to jump in and get the channel on XL. I'd come back to Virgin for that.
