Re: The Scottish Football Thread
Stan Petrov charity match Celtic legends v Stan Petrov legends on Sunday. Lovely guy, smashing player. Looking like a 60k sell out :) He deserves it.
The squads for Petrov's #19 legends game have been confirmed. CELTIC XI Tom Boyd, Momo Sylla, Tosh McKinlay, Jackie McNamara, Joos Valgaeren, Bobo Balde, Henrik Larsson, Morten Wieghorst, Chris Sutton, Pierre Van Hooijdonk, Jorge Cadete, Tommy Johnson, Brian McClair, Bobby Petta, Martin Compston, Didier Agathe, Neil Lennon, Rab Douglas, Stevie Graham, Warren Brown, Lubo Moravcik, Johan Mjallby. STILIYAN XI Brad Friedel, Radostin Kishishev, Freddie Bouma, Marian Hristov, Richard Dunne, Chris Kamara, Nicky Byrne, Robert Pires, Dimitar Berbatov, Jamie Redknapp, Gabriel Agbonlahor, Hristo Yovov, Paul Lambert, Patrik Berger, Roy Keane, Martin Petrov, Gareth Barry, Stiliyan Petrov, John Bishop, Habib Beye, Carlos Cuellar, John Terry, Shay Given. I'll have tears in my eyes seeing Henrik, Stan, Lubo, Pierre, Cadete and all again and daughter will be screaming as Louis Tomlinson of One Direction has been confirmed as playing too :D |
Re: The Scottish Football Thread
Found this on Youtube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?featur...X8auU1OA#t=875 "Rivals Rangers and Celtic" It's an expose documentary filmed late 2011 / early 2012. Some of the stuff is embarrassing, cringe worthy and shameful. As a Rangers fan I'm simply disgusted by some of the stuff that appears in the documentary from both halves of the divide. If this how the rest of the UK views Rangers and Celtic fans? |

Re: The Scottish Football Thread
Do the top Scottish teams need to be in the English Premiership and should we not call it the British Premiership as we already have two Welsh teams in the English Premiership.
What are your views: |
Re: The Scottish Football Thread
Personally l would like some Scottish sides to be in the English leagues but on the caveat that they have to start from the bottom division as anything else would be unfair to the teams who are already in the English leagues.

Re: The Scottish Football Thread
I am not bothered. They join, they don't join.
I do have concerns about celtic and the newco. But their fans are not too much different to other nutters. As long as they start banning teams, and demoting teams for fans bad behaviour, let them join :) |
Re: The Scottish Football Thread
Barely a dry eye in the house, great to see Stan again :)

I was set for the 4 - 4 draw with Petrov kicking the ball into the net with the last kick of the ball. Also Digital Spy says that Louis Tomlinson was unwell yesterday. And I saw that Chris Kamara and someone else missed the kick off.:D |
Re: The Scottish Football Thread
Yes it was a lovely tribute to him Henke.

The 1D barf. Fair play to the boy for coming up for the game |
Re: The Scottish Football Thread
A joy to watch today. Think Celtic are going to be a very entertaining side this season. Lots more flair in the side this season. Milan next :erm: Can't see us getting anything out the first two games but could get 3rd

Re: The Scottish Football Thread
Although I am certain that Celtic and that idiot Lennon will win the league come May, it is lovely to see a different team at the top. Only those Celtic fans who won't observe minute silence for dead soldiers and Neil Lennon stop me being a fan of Celtic now.
