Roast Venison (Sika = very tasty not too gamey) with the works - my son wanted roast for birthday (ideally beef but the piece I got was bigger and we have grandma for the weekend so better then).

Sainsbury's TTD Mediterranean tuna fish cakes, steamed broccoli, leeks and carrots. Good cheese sauce.
Great fish cakes with big chunks of tuna and no mush. :) |

Goats cheese and leek tart with roast parsnips and roast potatoes. All veg from.the allotment. Have a backlog of leeks to get through so will have to explore more recipes !

Today's delight was M&S Chicken Tagliatelle (microwave of course). A vaguely food like texture with zero taste. Lovely.
Might have a dabble with the George Formby grill tomorrow. |

Defrosted a couple of steak-in-ale pies in #2 ceramic dishes. Topping with puff pastry. Oven chips, beer battered onion rings and peas. Proper pub grub. :)

I'm watching two guys on the tv cooking vegan food which inspired me to make a bacon and egg sarnie to make up for the rubbish they are serving up.
