Cable Forum - What are you eating now?

The Greek version with lamb, veg and cheese in a packet or the Cypriot slow cooked lamb shank in tomato and wine? I love the latter, not so keen on the former.

A (rather than the) Greek version slow cooked, but not in tomato or a packet (the person cooking it comes from Portaria, near Volos, and apparently there are many ways of cooking Kleftiko).

I cooked a couple of pig hearts for our elderly cat (he needs the taurine found in heart muscle). I gave our lad a bit and he loved it, but not as much as the cat did.

Greek Cypriots would walk away if you put tomatoes in Kleftiko.

Salmon fishcakes, steamed broccoli*, leeks, carrots and cheese sauce.

Hosin pork ribs with sauce. Sweet potato chips and some mixed salad.

Lidl's 28 day matured rump steaks with horseradish butter. Mushrooms and onion rings. Oven chips, beer battered onion rings and peas.

Superb steak: So tender and tasty. Full marks to Lidl again. :tu:

Oat topped wholemeal deli rolls filled with pastrami, thin sliced tomato and iceberg lettuce. Lite mayo.
