I assume you have a mouse connected then.
In that case go to Settings, then Accessability, and then select Mouse and Trackpad. There should be an optin to ignore the trackpad when a mouse is connected.

Buy an USB keyboard.

I have my laptop sitting to the right of a 28" TV (acting as a monitor) on a shelf, and connected a USB keyboard and mouse.

My wife ended up pouring a boiling hot kettle over her when tired last night.

Not a good day and a whole evening in A&E getting it treated for burns and then getting it dressed.

Sorry! Moda Furnishings based in Manchester. Spent just short of £5.5K on garden furniture - it turns out the cushion covers aren't UV proof . Had promise after promise regarding replacements (the last one in October saying we'd have them 'by spring'). According to their website, new orders in our colour combination apparently have an 11 to 14 week lead time so doubt we'll see new cushion covers anytime soon.

Add to that the three attempts they needed to deliver furniture not bent out of shape or a different shade of weave AND the problem with the incorrect corner cushions they just seem to be ignoring.

Apparently there's a 7 year warranty but I'm getting the feeling anyone claiming will have a laugh a minute trying to get something sorted. They have a pretty good score on Trustpilot but a good read has quite a few customer claims of Moda only offering to sort out issues for customers if they remove the bad reviews.

Emailed them again last night asking them to sort the issues in a timely manner or we'll be expecting them to collect the stuff and refund the money. Mrs G has an 'in for a penny, in for a pound' attitude and will happily throw a bit more money at a claim in the small claims court.

Sorry for the bump, but a bit of an update.

21st June last year we'd had enough and lodged a claim at the County Court. A hearing was scheduled for January but adjourned to the 10th February. They didn't turn up so the Judge found in our favour for the full amount with payment due by 4pm 1st March. Had a phone call from them this morning and the money has just landed in the bank. Result.

The court gave them 14 days after the payment to collect it. They didn't mention it when they phoned so let's what and see. If they do contact us, I'm thinking about offering them a few £'s to keep it - after all they messed us about so long it's been sitting outside for over 2 years already so is depreciating a bit more every day!

I would not be surprised if they just write it off. Likely cost them more to pick it up than it is worth now
