Before the Perkins was the STAINSBY

I've just had one donated to me , The main difference for those who are interested is that you had to braille backwards on the sttainsby and when you took the paper off the board it was the right way round. The perkins brailles correctly while using it.

A relative of mine who I never got on with died a few months ago. Got a letter yesterday saying she had left me £350. So I am now going to treat myself to a new pair of trainers and maybe even a computer game or two. And a new bed as well. Still enough left after to get a few Christmas pressies as well.

my bed was 180 quid and its very cheap had to use mdf boards over the divan. If you want a good bed say bye bye to the whole lot

Hmm, does MDF over the divan part do the trick? Nowt wrong with it, just a bit in the middle that has gone. Loath to buy a new bed when apart from that bit the bed is in excellent condition.

I have just found a fiver while doing the housework - nice :)

Good for you. I looked out a jacket the other week & find £10 in the pocket. It was a great surprize.
