Man City look like they are going too be relegated to Manchester's second club again.;)

Re: Football Season 2016/2017
How? They've got the greatest manager of all time, the super special one that walked into those two relegation scrapping teams, Barcelona and Bayern and turned them into world beaters. Frank Rijkaard never won a league title or a champions league title with such a poor lineup. Jupp Heynckes is the same, he couldn't get that league title or champions league trophy either. Super PEP
On a serious note, welcome to the real world Pep, welcome to a club that isn't destined for success for you to stroll in and claim the glory. Man City at this point last season: 43 pts. Change |
Re: Football Season 2016/2017
Well these officials have certainly been been poor today as Rooney should have been sent off for a dreadful leg breaking tackle and surprise surprise the incompetent linesman misses a clear offside.:(

On the tram home from OT. Not the best of games, to much at stake, lots of mistakes from both sides. Draw was a fair result IMHO.
Pogba had a stinker. |

Like not sending Firmino off for slapping Herrera in the face, swings and roundabouts.;)

I thought raising a hand in an aggressive manner and striking an opponent was sufficient. TBH a yellow was enough given the outrageous shirt pull. :)

Came across this before http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/v...overin1998.jpg :(
Down to 11th in 2004, 18th on last check, dropping out of the top 20 and 30 on a few occasions. Bad ownership, bad management decisions, bad transfer dealings, underachieving. The slow death of a football club that early on challenged for the Premier League title, slowly fading into being a top four club instead, then fading into a Uefa Cup club and then a mid table club followed by a struggling for survival club. :erm: Can't forget Leeds United of course. Oh and they never leapfrogged Juventus in the end as expected for those wondering. 5th was the highest ever. |

At least he is turning out, not pretending to have a bad back and angling for a move to China.;)

Tell him to just stay at home and do nowt for 2 1/2 years...players want to play after all. Time to send a message, a contract is a contract, don't like it don't sign it. |

Whilst I don't want a return to the maximum wage days the power of so called 'agents' does need properly regulating and restricting. Why any player at the top of his game would want to play in China as opposed to the top European leagues just for the money, considering the vast sums they already earn is beyond me. It's like asking Rembrant or Da Vinci to paint your outside loo for silly money joke football, instead of real painting. |
