Heinze blow for United
Gabriel Heinze has been ruled out for most of the season with a cruciate knee ligament injury.

Although Ferguson has refused to rule out Heinze from the campaign altogether it appears unlikely he will return and he also faces a race against time to be fit for Argentina's World Cup campaign in Germany next year.

Oh beans. We have our own massive injury list.

All three keepers (Gerrard, Pedersen and Gamble) injured - we've drafted Hoult in from WBA as cover - he's probably better than those three maybe barring Gerrard

TWO fit strikers - King and Harris loaned to Watford and Gillingham, Johnson's done his collarbone, Weir-Daley's done his shoulder, Dobie ran into a brick wall  leaving Taylor (who is ****) and Lester (more a midfielder but has played striker, not really either, and not really a goalscorer but he's good, but been out with a knee injury since December) - where are the goals going to come from?

Add to that we have a few DFs and MFs out too... :( we're gonna lose, and it's Harford managing the opposition, the guy who was caretaker when we brought Megson in...

Yeah, wish we could get him back. Boy do we need a striker...

Good luck to the lad, as I said he's talented but needs to gain the application- maybe as talented as Harewood.

Ah, but this is Cambridge United we are talking about here ;)
It just bothers me that he never made the grade at Forest or Lincoln City and MK Dons, that is not to say he won't make it at Cambridge though.
