Superb rump steaks from Lidl's "pound of steak" promotion. Knocks the rest into a cocked hat.

Medium-rare, no gristle, tender and full of flavour. All the usual accompaniments. So good you feel you could eat it again. :D

Waitrose have (had) herbed chickens for £3 (one of the roast in bag types). So put on one the barbie, smoked with alder wood, roasted some sweet potatoes in oil, curry, salt and sugar in the barbie with them.
