Doesn't make sense. A for-profit company wouldn't invest that much into Liverpool just for advertising.

EDIT: Oppps. Misread it. I thought they wanted to buy the club. Still, it's rather vague what investment it is, it won't be much beyond the normal rate. As thenry points out renaming Anfield isn't going to work either.

Omg it's always about Arsenal.

I don't understand where you've got normal from, wheres normal and whats normal? you seem to back the Arsenal officials alot so I'm guessing you think the recent renewal is normal ?

No this was a conversation about Liverpool. I am sick of the thread always being about Arsenal. I said they won't go above normal which would mean we take Liverpool's last sponsorship deal and see to raise a bit.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013

because you blindly support and because you think the recent renewal is decent i thought you'd consider that sort of level as normal. what do you mean by a bit though? whats normal in your eyes?

Re: Football Season 2012/2013

Because I am not talking about Arsenal. I am not talking about Liverpool. This isn't an Arsenal forum, if I want to talk about Liverpool I can.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013

of course. whats normal, whats the rate which you think is normal, what figure do you think Liverpool will get from the upcoming renewal? a bit over 20m could be anything lets be honest.

Team of the Year: De Gea; Zabaleta, Ferdinand, Vertonghen, Baines; Mata, Carrick; Hazard, Bale; Suarez, Van Persie

Fair enough I think. No surprises there.

Yep, I don't think there can be many arguments about the team, maybe Michu was a little unlucky not to be in it.

Maybe Michu in place of Hazard. It's hard to judge Hazard because he came which such high expectations to meet.

Hazard?! no way.

Wenger says special players are always welcome back and I'm sure Fab falls into that. plus he threw pizza at Fergie. come back home Fab :D

He'd be stupid to come back to Arsenal while they are still unlikely to win anything in the next couple of seasons.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013

whoever finishes 4th in the PL has a fight to get into the groups. other leagues have intense fights for CL footy too. Real Sociedad currently putting distance between them and those around them chasing 4th including Malaga although Malaga cannot get into Europe next season anyway. Germany, Italy etc. all have battles going on too.
