That would definitely show something iffy was going on. They can't currently register them as Barca players because they obviously play for someone else. It's outside the transfer window anyway, which is the only time anyone can be registered, unless your a free agent and even then there's a time limit. There's no way, bar an appeal, they can register anyone. But it is Barca....

Hence why they are now worried about him playing against them in Europe. Personally, if it is like the Lua Lua situation a while ago (where Newcastle failed to put a clause in saying he could not play against them, he did and scored the winning goal) then Chelsea have no right to demand money for Courtois to play against them. They messed the loan agreement up, so they must pay the consequences.

There were no rules on third party ownership then, the whole crux of the matter revolves around one paragraph in their contracts that was never invoked that stated they could be sold regardless of the clubs permission if a club bid over a certain amount, this amounted to third party influence in the contract. Which incidentally was brought in originally to stop clubs putting clauses in contracts like a player can't play against the selling club that season, not to stop some shyster business man making a few quid.

I don't recall all the furore about the loan system last season when Lukaku played for little old West Brom. But now he's playing for a team challenging for a place in the top 4 it's gone haywire. You all seem to have missed the clause in Stephen (My gran has died, no not that one, the other one. Actually I lied to see my bird) Irelands permanent contract at Stoke "Aston Villa stipulated that they weren't going to allow the loan deal to be changed unless it was in the contract that Stephen couldn't play against them," Hughes said. http://www1.skysports.com/football/n...ys-mark-hughes Now that's clearly influencing another teams selection.

Stevenage are an absolute shambles. No desire, no fight. Manager a waste of space. Resigned to them playing League 2 football next season. If they survive now, I will support Tottenham next season and vote for Milliband and his bunch of losers.

The longer this goes on the more chance there is of Wigan sneaking something.

What happens if it is 0-0 at end of 90 minutes? Got Talent taping for a relative so assume that will be mucked around if they do extra time and penalties tonight?
