Osem Jnr has just been told that his Sensei is putting him forward for consideration for promotion to Black Belt 2nd Dan. Of course I am biased, but he's worked and trained so hard over the years since he achieved the black belt that I think he thoroughly deserves what is quite an accolade. :)

Thanks Den, it's not a done deal by any means as it has to go to a panel of senior senseis but even if he doesn't make it this time we're still proud of what he's achieved.

Trying to get fit by walking in my 30 min lunch, aiming to walk more that 1.3 miles, today did 1.54 miles and my shirt was soaking with sweat, fun afternoon.

try again tomorrow hopefully not on 30c heat.
