VM are doing so well but can only give its customers price rises and no extra channels!!!

TiVo with VM's choice of channels is like a Ferrari with a vauxhall engine, looks good but got nothing under bonnet.

VM have had over seven channel additions since the price change announcements

Whilst its great to see these seven new channels personally still falling short of a heavy price rise, would have expected some more I profile HD channels(universal,Disney, itv's) whilst I understand additional sky channels maybe behond vm's control.i certainly would have expected the ipad streaming channels to be improved and the TiVo to TiVo streaming which is embarrassing certainly improved. Its not a moan BenMcr more disappointment I think last year personally the worse year since vm took over and it's the same old scenario great ideas but never properly supported(TV anywhere) :(

TCM HD, TCM 2, Cartoon Network HD have been good recent additions. Al Jazeera English and CBS Drama where not bad. Us Jocks will enjoy BBC One Scotland HD.

To be fair, Virgin aren't that far behind SKY when it comes to top quality channels. If Virgin can add some more HD channels plus channels like SONY Movies, The Style Network, Food Network, MGM, MTV Classic, FOX News and Premier Sports it would be tough to choose between the two. I still think Virgin need more 3D content and SKY Atlantic however not everyone will agree.

Media Boy moves reveal of channels set to move to new time.

I will now reveal the channels that Virgin Media will move on Monday Night just after midnight - and not midday on Tuesday as reported.

Why the big secret over new channel numbers? Surely Virgin would want customers to know what channels are changing EPG number.

Unless its coming with more channels too then I dont see the big deal.. hardly ground breaking high profile news to even break.. still if it excites you then fair enough

Sad , but true, seem they have to justify moving . Should seek help perhaps :dozey:

I still come here despite there being no cable services.

I have been here since the start (12th to sign up for the site) and now it's more about (some) of the people.

I don't feel like I shouldn't come back just 'cos I don't have VM anymore.

What kind of 'help' should I seek?

What?

Well asking a simple question ( With a real reason behind it) has launched a flow of tears , screams and don`t pick on me like comments. At any time, have I said do not post here . All are welcomed by me, I really would like to to know why, what ever the reason.
On odd occasions I have posted comments on a car forum as I was thinking about buying that model again & was asking about a fault in my previous one. The question was answered I said thank you & never posted again. I would love to know what rational reason would bring repeated digs, complaints & general moans & groans from NON virgin users about a service they no longer or even for all I know ever had.:dozey:
Lastly please do NOT class me as any sort of Virgin fan boy - just check out my past posts. Or ask Den :p:

I think people should be informed of both good and bad experiences. I've had SKY VM and (now) BT so if people are making a choice I think they should have all the information needed.

If their service is good for them then great but it's good to have a balanced view. I have had problems with ALL of my services on occasion. I'd never have VM tv again as I had 8 boxes from then that didn't work properly but on the other hand I know people who've had problem with their BT boxes..

It's swings and roundabouts.

Anyway I just think that a little considered (and that's the key there) opinion is no bad thing.

Also there are 'fanboys' on ALL sides not just from the sky / bt camp.

Agree with you on the considered piece and as I have said before posters like muppetman do that and thats great. However some just post dismissive comments literally all the time for example look at the u switch awards postings..

I will call it as I see it. I am a customer , not a promotions dept man.
If Virgin works well for me I will say so.If not again I will say so. I am interested in reading all comments, I simply wonder why,for this part of the forum, Coming soon- Non virgin users choose to post " put downs " or for that matter any sort of comment - even disguised as a question .
U switch awards I understand - TV ( any connected topic) sorry do not get it

Ah so you're moving the goalposts of your question - in that case I'd better leave you to it and let you get on.

Peace, out.

Sorry was trying to make my question clear & I have muddied (?) the waters.

So I repeat & will then drop it. Why do Non Virgin TV users post to Virgin TV topics. Simple :D
