This world cup will hardly overshadow his career, I'm just not going fawn all over him because of the player he used to be, same with Gerrard, he had no greater admirer than me but his time is up to.

My comments have overshadowed his career, hardly likely and if Gerrard had moved to Chelsea or been a nomad like pirlo instead of remaining loyal he'd have won as much. You'll be comparing Danny welbeck with shearer next because he won more.

My opionon is that England was that poor in this Torunament, l didn't bother watching the game tonight.

Its typical of The FA, they will stand by Hodgson. If that had happened in any other job he would be sacked.

I feel sorry for the thousands of fans that have spent a fortune to watch crap pure and simple.

I think that The FA should now order Hodgson to either quit or be sacked and bring in someone that will put the pride back into England. Totally disgraceful.

Where l work, even the pubs were not that busy.

I trust the clubs will now demand there players come back for pre season training as a punishment.
