Hi DF .... no internet link and no order code on mine as far as i can see ... well nothing that says its an order code just a few random letters and numbers in one corner of a picture at the bottom of the mail (area where it talks of 500GB Tivo) ...

Apologys for previous saying the 500GB TiVo wasnt mentioned .. it is but states its exclusive to existing customers and available from 16th May for £49.99 and dosent say anything about install charges

Sales should be asking for that code, I believe.

IMO the smaller box isn't worth it, you're only paying £25 more for 1TB box if registering now

£49.95+£40+£36 (non-vip £3 per mth 12mth contract) = £125.95

No email here, not hopeful of getting one either after missing out on the "Dear Dean" email despite pre-regging on the first day.

Are some VM sales taking orders without the reg code?

I am pre registered so they said its fine if I havent got the email cos they checked the system and I was pre registered.

They didnt ask for the code either because the system showed them I was already down for it.

Not to worry ... im still not going for TiVo .... dosent offer me anything im drooling for and especially not for £149 for a pvr

I did however notice .... and this is probably just bad wording .. but the email says .... call us on BLAH BLAH BLAH and BUY yours now .... so do customers actually buy it :p:

good luck to those getting theirs now ... I will wait for whenever they swap the V+ boxes out for free in some distant future

Worthwhile to inform internally that there are reports of orders being taken without codes then, sio any incorrect orders are stopped since only pre-reg customers should be ringing right now?

I am still waiting the email and my code and would not be happy if other people have been able to ring up and order a Tivo and jump ahead of me.

Would accept if anybody could ring up but their install dates are delayed until the pre-reg customers had booked theirs but cannot see how that can be arranged without knowing the number of pre-reg customers who will order and so should take the first delivery dates.

Over on www.vmhd.blogspot.com some are saying that they have managed to order a TIVO but they are awaiting a call back ( in 24 hours ) to confirm the install date?

Your still paying the £3p/m on the 1TB drive, so if the smaller box is £49.95 + £40 installation your actually saving £60 on today's prices, or £100 when the free install ends.

And £60 isn't a small amount of money - much easier to find £90 than £150

I think I've just about survived my call to order TiVo. After the 35 minute phone call from hell, I'm expecting my 1tb box installed on the 19th. :D

Will wait and see if this happens though because the lady on the phone seemed clueless. :(
