Re: Who Is Getting Fit This Year?

Please can somebody help me I need a seat post and seat 30.9

I'd like the seat post and seat fit flush where's joined together.

I need this because I can't do anything to the ride height other than the seat. The bike currently has some length where the seat meets the post. I hope that makes sense. Saving some length will I hope lower the ride height.

Have you tried moving the thing that sits inside the other thing so that the thing is lower than the the thing that it sits in

A bike specialist told me to get rid of the thing, stating it's a nuisance.

No because it goes all the way down

You could try the Couch to 5k just to get your cardio up which in turn will help with your cycling.

As much as I like Ariana Grande, no. I do have Timberlands but they aren't practical for riding a bike.

I tried the gym and running outside. I haven't got the energy. My shins hurt and ankles, I'm guessing it's shin splints again. It took me a while to get going at 7 stone but fought through it. There's no chance this time. Too fat. Obese factually.

I started off feeling that way but C25k is interval training, run for a minute then walk for a minute and a half 3x times a week then gradually increase the run by about 15 seconds and reduce the walk by the same.

The titration method relieves shin splints, which are usually caused by the wrong type of trainers anyway and is often eased by running on grass rather than pavement.

I know from experience every little counts and it does give you end results. At 7 stone I could do repeat 5k on a treadmill in the gym with ease, my breathing was on point too all built up from can't endure it.

There's shit on the fields. I'm not doing that. I have tilgate park near me where at school we use to do cross country. I was hoping to get my bike there then reality sunk in I can barely make it up the road and back.

Honestly I'm counting on the diet to shed weight then start at a lower weight. I'm carrying round an extra me. It's disgusting :(

It’s not disgusting at all. Nothing wrong with not being happy with yourself but giving yourself a kicking won’t help.

If Ozempic is an option it’s a great way to get started.

I got more attention at 7 stone than 15. Chiseled eye candy :D

I don't want the scars.

Eating a load of vegetables has helped with appetite. What keeps me going is the achievement of being able to fit into my standard fit t shirt, slim fit shirts, spacious hoodies, roomy shorts and trousers I can pull up.

Scars? You don’t get scars from a 4mm needle ;)

Started the gym this week after putting on some weight. I'm currently 19 half stone, looking to lose 4 or 5.

And just because you had more attention back then does not make you “disgusting” now.
