I don't care what SAF says, this United team is weaker than last years' and not investing in firepower is going to cost us the premiership this year - we can't rely on Old Trafford Overtime every week.

Without a doubt, we have sod all squad and £100Million sitting doing nothing. Anyone that can string three passes together will take us to pieces if we play like that. It's not like Sunderland did anything, same as Burnley, we have all the play and no idea what to do with it. Soon as Rooney has a bad game we do. To think, could have had Tuncay sitting on the bench, what did he cost? That "No Value In The Market" garbage Ferguson came out with will haunt him. And Joshua King should be getting a start ahead of Welbeck, Welbeck isn't close to 1st team ready. And King could be the next big thing for us. Lads a genius.

Nope, this is something newer.

Its still all conjecture at the moment though. Apparently though a source within the NOTW has said they will be running a story this weekend. I'm presuming its about Redknapp but could be Spurs. The guy didn't elaborate, but was in the "Redknapp leaving?" thread.

Its a tax evasion issue rather than a transfer dealings issue like with the previous Lord Stevens investigation

Looks like its true...:

Not managed to catch the papers and nothing on the website. Might go out after midnight and see if the local petrol station has a copy.

Looks like he's just going to be questioned again, no charges at this stage.

*sigh* First time in 3 years we have a manager and a team that can really do something and we get all this ****...

Seems a bit weak to be honest? The article makes it look like they don't really have much to charge him on otherwise they would have by now.

Well he could still be charged (and the found guilty). Rounds of questioning isn't unusual even in solid cases.

Bit of background into what money is the issue here:

He got a million hush money when Rio went to Leeds to, bet the next bit of speculation is that he has been pocketing a slice from every deal and with the amount of transfers he has done :spin:

Yup. More important is the twice coming from behind! I was worried we would fail to capitalise on the dropped points by United and Spurs. As well as whoever drop points at Stamford Bridge.

SAF is a genius when you think about it. His team put in another poor performance, got lucky with a draw against Sunderland at home further dropping points against teams they should not. If this were Arsenal the obituary writers would be talking about our season in the past tense, how we don't have the squad, or the depth, or the money, or the looks, or the stadium, or the name to win the title. Liverpool are obviously getting that treatment now for losing against Chelsea away! A result which is not exactly fatal or unexpected.

However Fergie deflected by having a go at the ref! Now all the talk is about that instead of the game! He does it every time and every time it seems to work. That is impressive.

The cost of watching the game was being advertised on Monday in the Daily Express as £4.99 if viewers signed up before midnight on Wednesday.
Charges rise to £9.99 for those who subscribe on Thursday and Friday, and £11.99 on Saturday.
Not a chance, I might have to dust my radio off for this one unless this is affected as well :td:

Do they really think people are going to pay £5 - £12 to watch this when you can watch it for free on dozens of other sites?

No, I think it's an utter abomination to be honest. England matches should be on fta channels by law.

(admittedly this arose because none of the fta carriers would do it...)
