The 10Mbps config has been applied to your modem, it just hasn't taken full effect and should do within twelve hours.

As Mags says it should be instant if it is in the config and his upstream is the 10Mb upstream so the must be a fault.

Strange, my config was changed, I didn't receive my new speed for approximately eight hours later.

It should be instant immediately after you reboot, the only way it could have stayed low was if you were being traffic managed at that time.

Test 4: 2048K took 2173 ms = 942.5 KB/sec, approx 7766 Kbps, 7.58 Mbps

Overall Average Speed = approx 7532 Kbps, 7.36 Mbps
