Mr Usmanov is teasing us. Claims to have bought two shares this month, taking his holding from 29.9924% to 29.9957%. 3 to go till he speaks.

.@amigooner No compulsory bid at 30%, but I do expect some action from Red&White once they announce that figure. We wait to see what.

It would be stupid of them not to, it doesn't really mean anything and it would have caused uproar in the media if they didn't do it.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013

why hide away from it. i dont want any abuse aimed at RVP or Utd winning the league. the anger has to be directed at the incompetent officials working for Arsenal, the club, those manage the club.

honestly the sooner Usmanov gets in with Dein by his side the better. and before anyone slates Usmanov take a look at Peter Hill-Woods past and connection in Russia. He's hardly a saint yet hes running the show at Arsenal disrespecting shareholders at the AGM and all sorts!!!

Is it unhealthy that three of the top people running the FA support United? ;)

His appointment means that three of the key people who help run English football are fans of the Red Devils.
The others are Greg Dyke, who takes over as Football Association chairman this summer, and FA vice-chairman Gill, who hopes to join Uefa's executive committee.

No, for a start, it's not the FA alone, it's the Premier League and UEFA included in that report. It just means that you have three people who have immaculate taste at the top.:p: If people like Gill are involved given his top class track record it can only be good for the game. The other two are high quality individuals who just happen to be United supporters, they have not been involved in the day to day running of the club.

Of course, just wanted to point out that the three people mentioned were not all 'running the FA' as you stated. :)
