Disney+ hit by technical glitches on launch day

Lets hope they sort it before it comes to the UK.

I hope so too. These things can tarnish brands and products.

You don't have to look far across this dark corner of the internet to find people opposed to ITV holding football rights because they showed an advert by mistake during a game in 2010.

The internet never forgets.

Re: Netflix/Streaming Services

ITV have shown adverts in the middle of live games at least three times - and missed goals on at least two occasions.

Once is forgivable - twice is terrible - three times and you show you don't really care.

ITV still haven't discovered that 5.1 audio now exists - UHD is just a dream.

Really? How long ago was that - currently only show England internationals, I don't recall this happening in the last few years.

It was some time ago but they haven't had that much live tv rights since.

One was an live FA Cup match and they no longer have the rights.

Another was a UEFA match and they no longer have the rights.

Anyway - thankfully ITV did not get the UEFA rights so the football will continue to be available in up-to-date transmission formats.

So much for UEFA's commitment to bring European football to a wider TV audience...

SKY have also done it but must be ok for them eh despite that we pay a premium for it.
Also SKY had fake crowd noises during matches too.
ITV made mistakes yes but at least we don't pay for that service, i'm not defending ITV as they should be more proffesional.

I've never seen Sky on an ad-break when a goal is scored.

I think all the channels are now adding fake crowd noise so as no to upset OFCOM - or at least the person who complains about anything they hear which may offend one person.

SKY on several times have gone into a ad break during a match, although they are far better than ITV at coverage but we pay for SKY so i expect a lot better, ITV well what do you expect from a amature network.

Can anyone who would like a free one month Now TV Entertainment pass please PM me.

They must be added by 31/12/19 and start immediately, so the code could be added at the beginning of December if you want it for over Christmas.

Some foreign coverage may be forced on them? Has this happened on Premier League or Championship?

In anycase - all the big channels in sport have some UHD and 5.1 audio. Even BBC can do UHD.

Neither BBC nor ITV are 'big channels in sport'

No but the big sport events they do have deliver far bigger audiences then the Pay TV sports channels.
