I am not calm now because no sooner had the final whistle blew than I got the gloating messages from United fans just like I always get for the last seven or whatever years. I prefer it when Chelsea win the league so at least I don't get so much of it.

In fairness during their team's brief flirtation with success certain Arsenal fans came out with such gems as "Man United's glory days are confined to the era of Geri Halliwell's Union Jack dress and Noel Gallagher" so it's only right we get our digs in.

He is better though and didn't cost anywhere near £35 million. Giroud is fine. He isn't Van Persie but he has a decent goal rate this season.

Yes true he did not cost as much as misfit Carroll but a great striker affects important games and Giroud l am afraid has gone missing in those big games.
