It was a free for all in Morrisons yesterday. Quite frightening, especially the turds milling around with no mask/mask under their noses.

You have zero evidence it caused many issues, esp given it finished two months ago.

Sending students back has caused the biggest issue around here.

And when did cases start increasing?
When and where did the original infected students get it from?

The treasury’s “eat out to help out” scheme could have directly caused almost a fifth of new coronavirus case clusters over the summer, new research suggests.

The paper, from Thiemo Fetzer, an economist at the University of Warwick, found that the scheme – in which the government funded discounts on food and non-alcoholic drinks at participating businesses Monday to Wednesday throughout August – was closely linked to an increase in cases over the summer.

Coronavirus spread more rapidly in areas with a lot of participating restaurants, Fetzer found, and infections in those areas slowed after the scheme ended.

Maybe the delays are because the Cabinet don't fully agree or there is trouble from backbench MPs. ;)

So what other transmission methods, other than related to breathing, are you claiming for a respiratory infection?
There was the infamous case of bus travellers in Wuhan. Just one infected person led to the infection of several others. Including people who were not on the bus at the same time as that person.
Link from March

Quote:

A man infected with coronavirus spread the virus to nine other people on his bus, raising fears the killer infection can jump between people far easier than initially thought in confined places.
A study found two victims sitting 4.5 metres (14.7ft) away from the man were later diagnosed, which is four times what is considered a 'safe distance' to stand near an COVID-19 patient.

Late again (story of the U K pandemic response) The rugby hasn't finished. Someone didn't tell him they stop the clock in rugby for every little thing....

Our Morrisons still has slots for next week (atm).
The site is clearly quite busy though, so I expect there to be less as the evening progresses.

Booked mine for the weeks ahead yesterday. Nothing must interrupt the wine supply.

Busy buying off his revolting (in both senses of the word) backbenchers - with probably better sweeteners then they refused to give Andy Burnham.
