Re: BoxNation on Virgin Media?
Victor Ortiz v Andre Berto is showing in sky sports schedule so it must have been in their deal signed before boxnation announced their deal with golden boy!

It's good to see Boxnation now offering the channel to SKY customers at £10.00 per month without having to commit for 6 months. It can only be good in terms of getting new subscribers. 3 people at my work with SKY are planning on getting the channel for 1 month just to see Mayweather Vs. Cotto. Boxnation need to go all out for Pacman Vs. Bradley in June too. |

Tomorrow from 9pm on ITV - Piers Morgan's Life Stories: Frank Bruno. In his first major interview for nearly a decade, former boxer Frank Bruno re-lives the dramatic highs and lows of his journey from troubled adolescent to world champion, followed by personal meltdown and mental illness. He reveals the trauma of his retirement, divorce and committal to a psychiatric hospital, and how he finally battled his way back to health and happiness. Whilst ITV have let us down badly in terms of live boxing, they have shown some decent boxing content in recent months. We had The Fight Of Their Lives back in December telling the story of Benn and McClellan plus recently they ran a series of new shows to celebrate the 70th birthday of Ali. |

Re: BoxNation on Virgin Media?
I have just signed up to BoxNation the schedule was to much for a boxing fan. Quick question is the advice I got from Virgin CS right I must restart my TiVo box after 5mins to be able to see this channel?
Update: The channel came on without a restart, crazy advice! |

Re: BoxNation on Virgin Media?
apparently sky are cutting back on the shows they will be putting on which is a real shame as i was thinking they were going to start showing more boxing. i havent seen anything official yet other than frank warren mentioning it tonight so if anyone gets any can you put it on here please? also ive heard rumour of hatton promotions coming to boxnation!

Here's a Tweet from Ricky Hatton: "Just landed in hong kong.what a trek that was. Just landed and get a load of tweets of sympathy as people have found out that sky have Pulled the plug on my dates.thank you to all who have sent best wishes. I have a load of champions and a to stable so HP will consider other Avenues for my lads. I guess if you want loyalty by a dog." So it looks like SKY are cutting back, and Hatton could end up on Boxnation however he did do some shows for Eurosport last year. If David Price doesn't make swift progress, or join Matchrooms ever growing roster, Frank Maloney will be dumped shortly too. Maloney only has about 6 dates on SKY whilst Matchroom, reportedly, have 20. Thank goodness for Boxnation! |
Re: BoxNation on Virgin Media?
Looking forward to the Vegas card this weekend, love Buncie great larger than life character!
Must admit though I might dip in and out on this channel if the fight schedule gets a bit thin on the ground I might cancel for the odd month, as BoxNation has pushed me over the £100 mark per month bill, which is not good! |

I think £10.00 per month is a bargain however I will drop in and out myself if the quality isn't there. Box Academy seems an interesting concept. |
Re: BoxNation on Virgin Media?
cheers chad! it will be good if hatton and maloney move to boxnation as we will see the undercards from their shows instead of sky just showing the main event and normally 1 undercard. i know boxnation are doing this box academy but i think they should do a contender type of show aswell!
