So I finally get to read this....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/After_Worlds_Collide

Unfortunately I have to get my DAISY to read it out to me and as it's a text file it sounds awful

Still I'm hoping the story makes up for it.

Just finished reading Donny Osmond "Life is what you make it" (Yes I like him and loved one got me it from a charity shop) Not as good as I thought it would be but interesting in parts.

Over the last few days I've read the first three volumes of The Vampire Diaries. :erm: They're nothing like the show. I think I prefer the books though. :D

Not his best, a big boy did it and ran away gets that award for me, but I quite liked this one.

Truly an SF Classic. :)
Alas I can only claim reading it 3 times. :(

I am about to start a 3rd re-read of Arthur C Clarke - Childhoods End. A story that, I have always contended, must have, at least, inspired the beginning of V.

I'm now picturing a young lady in full 70's regalia Jules standing outside some venue waiting for the Osmonds chanting Donny, Donny.:)

The Age of Ra - James Lovegrove

A tale presupposing the Egyptian gods were the dominant faith throughout the world and the squabbles between the gods are reflected in human wars the world over. Moves along well.
