"You can be intolerant to any type of food or ingredient in food, such as:

histamine – found in foods and drinks like wine and cheese

caffeine – found in coffee, tea and some fizzy drinks

alcohol

sulphites – found in cider, beer and wine

salicylates – found in some fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices

monosodium glutamate (MSG) – found in ripened fruits, cured meats and savoury foods

None of us here have any intolerance to any food or drink.

For wearing around the house this winter, and then to be draped over your bed at night?

Pre-order of PS5 Pro, I was too weak, I now have a month or so to regret it.

Seems very pricey. Is the ps 6 not out soon? I'm not that genned up on PS issues being an (infrequent) Xbox user.

It is very pricey I agree the internet went into meltdown when it was announced and it doesn't even come with a bluray drive although that's an extra addon if wanted which I don't seem to use now so I won't bother with that. It does come with 2TB so that helps on the price. I swore I didn't want it at that price but I'm weak and folded easily on preorder PS Store order day! PS6 is likely 3-4 years off.

I can't see me getting the PS5 Pro, just not enough of an upgrade over the standard one. Where as the PS4 to Pro was a big leap from 1080p to 4k and noticeable performance increase.

I also built a high spec PC last year and many decent PS5 games are already playable and look much better.

I just bought Coldplay tickets for me and the wife.

Just got my watch back from a full service and a repair. Not much change from £800 quid.

But I've worn it every day for 8 years and 11 months, it had the usual scratches on the bracelet and the normal wear and tear etc. Happily to say it's come back in the exact condition as the day I purchased it so no complaints at all. No more scratches, all cleaned up, totally immaculate and so far keeping excellent time.

If I wanted to sell it, I'd get just slightly over the price I paid including the service. So 9 years of wearing a nice watch and I could end up with a (very) tiny profit just for the privilege. But I didn't buy it for an investment so will never sell it anyway.

Timepieces are a funny thing, aren’t they. Technology abrogated the need for expensive, precision clockwork decades ago but there’s just something about it. I have a early-mid 20th century Enfield grandfather clock here that I bought from an uncle in non-working condition for many £££s, spent many more £££s having it restored, and have spent many more £££s on two major services over the past 25 years. It’s cost me more than I’ve spent buying every iPhone I’ve ever owned and doesn’t even keep time as well as my phone does (varying temperature and humidity - it’s pretty good but constantly adjusting the pendulum with the seasons is a hassle).

It’s barely an antique and probably isn’t worth quite what I’ve spent on it over the years. But it looks beautiful, sounds amazing and makes every single person who comes into my house stop and gawp. :D

After the PS5 Pro price reveal I did briefly consider building a PC instead which would have cost far more but I came to my senses as all I want is a hassle free silent superb gaming experience that I get from plonking myself down on the sofa and just switching everything on and not have to mess with a mouse and keyboard and OS updates etc, I gave that up in 2007 while playing BF2. I didn't feel a huge performance increase from a PS4 to a PS4 Pro but I could be misremembering and hope I notice it with this upgrade and not just my wallet, only time will tell I guess.
