And the absurd April Fools carry on. *yawns in boredom*

I wonder though, out of sheer morbid interest, just how many season tickets either club would sell if it wasn't an April Fools prank. Attendances would drop like a lead balloon I imagine.

Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger to be offered largest transfer budget in club's history by Stan Kroenke

Arsenal's Stan Kroenke still believes in Arsène Wenger and will give him the largest transfer budget in their history

£100m should have been avialable summer just gone. Arsenal can push a little more than £100m this coming summer.

Trouble is, all very well having 100 million to spend. If you have someone who refuses to spend it there is no point in making it available to them.

Exactly as apart from the Ozil signing Mr Wenger is very frugal with his transfer dealings.

Somehow l cannot see Wenger going for this player if he becomes available.

Indeed as if he signed for Arsenal he would be a great signing who has proven form and class at the highest level.

Indeed a golden chance and maybe their only chance.

Felliani looks like a fish out of water.:(

Very good performance considering how we've played against similar sides to Bayern. Its nice to go into the second leg with a chance.

That Welbeck miss may well be costly, Fellaini started badly but got better as the game went on. Not much possession but more shots on target, a big improvement on recent performances. Once again a terrific atmosphere in the ground.

may well be? its a dead cert that miss will haunt you. in games like that chances don't come around too often. top quality and above average are separated in moments like that. having said that the first goal disallowed for a high foot was a bit of a ball ache. makes you think if that red against RM was actually the right call.

Yes it was nice to see United show a improvement and even though they are going through a transition they showed that Bayern have weaknesses that can be exploited.
