I've just tried some windscreen anti-mist liquid (For rejuvenating anti-mist cloths). Better but not perfect. Not steaming up but blobby liquid on the lens. Once the lenses are warm it works fine.

I unsuccessfully tried an anti-foogging spray and also a cloth that was advertised to keep glasses clear whilst you wear a mask, expensive experiments but at least our bathroom mirror seems to stay clear so not a total waste of money. :)

I wash my specs daily with washing up liquid. I leave the tiniest amount on the lenses as I was taught. Not a foggy spec session once, apart when walking into a hot and humid Tesco from a cold exterior.

Now my brother-in-law has been rushed into hospital. Not Covid related apparently but he's told me he's there for a week. It does leave my poor nephew on his own over Christmas.

Thanks for wanting to help Daddy. Tried all the tips and tricks and nothing keeps my glasses fog free, even tried 3D plastic brackets but just ended up with a sore cut nose and an unflattering elastoplast.. <big oweeeeee, naughty naughty plastic>

Simplist solutuion is a glasses cord so I can take off my glasses off but not lose or break them as a result.

I finally found the solution to that annoying problem of steaming specs... I just remove the lenses and wear the frames! :tu:

Try pushing the nose part of the mask tight and breathing through your mouth

I suffer a similar issue, it has been worse this time of year, I did hear they roll a bit of loo roll and put this at the bridge I will try this when I have to shop again, which hopefully will be next Tuesday/Wednesday to get medication.

Have you tried a visor and wearing your glasses?7
Wipe the inside surface of visor with neat washing up liquid

Now that we'll be in tier 4 on Boxing Day we can't go to my sisters as planned and she can't come to us on New Years day. :(

I'll meet up with her next week at a nature reserve (Malling Down) that's about midway between us for a present exchange and to see her new dog. We'll have a walk together. Just need to chose a decent day.

If your sister lives alone you can form a support bubble with her it doesn't matter about being in tier 4, that is what I can legally do with my parents over Christmas.

Unfortunately she's already in a support bubble with her friend who'll be there Xmas day. Two bubbles are not allowed to overlap.

Thanks Storm Bella. I love repairing my fence over and over again..Lucky it's only 2 panels to replace. Next door but one's chalet shed has completely collapsed. 2nd time in a year. However the damage is nothing like the 1987 storms..so far.

'sigh' well after almost 2 weeks of lazing about doing nothing much apart from eating & drinking, gaming and/or watching movies until 2am followed by a late rise in the morning . . . I'm wondering how the heck I'm going to be wide awake and getting ready for work at 4:45 tomorrow morning

hopefully I won't be the only one who needs to be 'left alone' until around 9am :dozey: :D

I feel your pain.... first time in six years I’ve had two weeks off at Christmas with no on call or requirement to work. 5AM alarm on so I can catch up with my staff in Singapore.

Before then there’s ‘the fear’ to contend with
